Keshet Eilon mourns the tragic loss!

South Korean Famous Violinist Kwon Hyuk Joo Dies at age of 31 Years :- The Wednesday morning brought the sad news as the famous violinist Kwon Hyuk Joo was passed away at the tender age of 31. The South Korean violinist was found dead in the taxi outside the Haeundae District hotel around 12: 30 AM on October 12, 2016. The taxi driver informed media wing that he picked Kwon from a drinking outing where he’d had with acquaintances. He further added that ”he was looking asleep when we crossed the Diamond Bridge as he was quite silent with closed eyes. But, when we reached the hotel, I tried to wake him up and found that he was not breathing. Then, I called emergency number 119."
Results have been published of the autopsy found that he died of sudden cardiac arrest. He was carrying pills for a suspected heart condition. A friend said: ‘He had symptoms of arrhythmia but I assume his health has deteriorated recently due to fatigue from a heavy schedule.’
Kwon Hyuk-joo, a graduate of the Moscow Central Music School and Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he studied under Eduard Grach came into the limelight in 2004 when he became the first Korean to win 1st place at the Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition in 2004. He was a popular performer in South Korea and Vietnam, appeared with Ida Haendel in Keshet Eilon and made several tours of Europe, recording Ravel and Schumann for Universal’s Korean offshoot.
