Iria Perry (Israel)

Pianist Dr. Iris Perry has performed to high acclaim as a recitalist, soloist with
orchestras, chamber musician and accompanist throughout Austria, Holland, Israel,
Romania, former Soviet Republics and the United States. She is a prizewinner of
international piano competitions including the Stravinsky Awards and Young
Keyboard Artists Association International Piano Competitions. She received the Yale
University Bruce Simonds Scholarship Award for outstanding performance in solo
and chamber literature, as well as a Patricia Brady-Danzig (PBD)Foundation Music
Scholarship. Dr. Perry has taught at Yale, Indiana, Montclair State, Monmouth and
William Paterson Universities, Bergen Community College and Westminster Choir
College of Rider University. At William Paterson University, she also served as the
director of Music Admissions and founded the pre-college division. She holds a
Doctorate of Music from Indiana University, a Master of Music from Yale University
and a Bachelor of Music from Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. Dr.
Perry made Aliya with her husband and two sons from the United States in 2019 and
currently resides in Haifa, Israel.
