 Ilya Lekhanov

Ilya Lekhanov was born in Russia into a family of actors.
In 2010 Ilya graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory under
supervision of Professor Eliso Virsaladze.
In 2015 he graduated from Hochschule der Künste Bern, Switzerland with Professor
Tomasz Herbut.
Ilya has won numerous prizes and awards, among them International Piano Competition
«Principat d’Andorra», XXXII International Piano Competition «Virtuosi per musica di
pianoforte» (Czech Republic), International Competition «Memorial Isidor Bajic 5» (Serbia,);
«Tschumi Prize» (Switzerland).
He has performed recitals and concerts with orchestras throughout Italy, Bulgaria,
Greece, Germany, Monaco, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland and Israel.
He has worked with such conductors as Michael Sanderling, Radu Popa, Kaspar
Zehnder, Wang Puhan , Anton Grishanin, Sergey Ferulyev.
He has played with such orchestras as Bern Symphony Orchestra, Biel Symphony
Orchestra, Serbian Philharmonic Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Moscow Chamber
Orchestra, etc…
Ilya has been recorded on CD and has performed on radio and TV.
