רוב פעילותו של מרכז המוסיקה קשת אילון ממומן על ידי תרומות שמקורן בקרנות, בגופים עסקיים, במשרדי ממשלה ובתורמים פרטיים נדיבים. ואף על פי כן, ההכנסות אינן מכסות את ההוצאות השוטפות וגם לא את צורכי תקציב הפיתוח, לא בטווח הקרוב ובוודאי שלא בטווח הארוך.

בניסיון למלא את החסר, מארגן המרכז קונצרטים להתרמה בארץ ובחו”ל, באולמות ובבתים פרטיים, וכל ההכנסות המתקבלות באירועים מסוג זה מוקדשות לקידום הפרויקט ולפיתוחו. ידידים רבים מקרב תומכי קשת אילון אירחו קונצרטים כאלה בבתיהם, ואגודות ידידים הפעילות בכמה ערים מרכזיות בעולם מעמידות לצורך הקונצרטים הללו אולמות מרכזיים או חללים מתאימים אחרים. כך למשל, נערכו בשנים האחרונות קונצרטים בניו יורק, בשיקאגו, בג’נבה, בפריס, בלוס אנג’לס, במיאמי, בסידני וגם בערים שונות בישראל. בקונצרטים הללו מופיעים בהתנדבות אמנים צעירים ומבטיחים בוגרי קשת אילון, לצדם של נגנים אורחים וחברי סגל כחגי שחם, אני שנרך, ואדים גלוזמן ושמואל אשכנזי.

מרכז המוסיקה קשת אילון הוא קמפוס שוקק ששלושה אירועי מוסיקה פדגוגיים מתקיימים בו מדי שנה: סמינר החורף, סמינר האביב וקורס הקיץ הבינלאומי. כדי לקיים את הפעילויות הללו הקמנו את אולם בר-אוריין, כיתות הלימוד, הקפטריה ומעונות הסטודנטים. תנופת הפיתוח נמצאת בשיאה בתקווה שבשנים הקרובות יקום במרכז בית ספר בינלאומי לנגינה בכלי קשת.
