DESCRIPTION:Festive Opening Performance – The Israel Camerata Jerusalem with Soloist Violinist Itamar Zorman\nThursday\, October 30\, 2025\, 9:00 PM\, Bar Orian Hall\nThe concert is dedicated to the late Yehuda Zisapel\, a man of hi-tech\, music\, and culture.\nA partner in the journey of “Keshet Eilon” who contributed greatly to Israeli classical music.\n \n  \nThe opening concert of the Keshet Eilon concert series will be a spectacular event by the Israel Camerata Jerusalem. In this festive performance\, the Camerata will host the wonderful soloist violinist Itamar Zorman. \nThe Israel Camerata Jerusalem orchestra was founded in 1983 by Professor Avner Biron in Rehovot. Within a short time\, the orchestra gained an important place on Israel’s musical map\, became the leading chamber orchestra in Israel\, and is now considered one of the best chamber orchestras in the world. At the center of the concert is Benjamin Britten’s work\, “Hymn to Saint Cecilia.” \nFollowing the exciting first-place victory at the International Choir Competition in Hungary in April 2025\, Ensemble Cecilia brings the winning program back to Israel. In this program\, the ensemble embarks on a vocal journey between sacred and holy music and secular music – with all content performed a cappella\, without instrumental accompaniment\, in eight voices for eight singers. At the center of the program stands Benjamin Britten’s work\, “Hymn to Saint Cecilia\,” one of the central works for a cappella writing that presents special harmonic complexity and praises the patroness of music and the arts. DESCRIPTION:Concert of the three winners of the 18th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition in May 2026 in Tel Aviv. \nThis is the fourth year that the winners of the Arthur Rubinstein International Competition give us\, the residents of the periphery\, the opportunity to enjoy the future generation of pianists here at Kibbutz Eilon. \nThanks to Idit Tzvi who initiated the collaboration and to Ariel Cohen who continues her path. \nGood luck to the competition winners \nThe names of the performing pianists will be published at the end of the competition.
