Chaim Taub (Israel)

Violin

Israeli violinist Chaim Taub was the concertmaster of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra from 1969 until his retirement in 1988. A student of Oedoen Partos at the Tel Aviv Academy and later of Ivan Galamian at the Juilliard School of Music, New York, he became a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Later he returned to Israel where he joined the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, in which he served as a Concertmaster for many years, performing as a soloist with the IPO and with many other Israeli orchestras. Taub was a founding member of the internationally acclaimed Tel Aviv String Quartet, with whom he recorded and toured extensively. He is regarded as one of Israel’s leading violin teachers, and many of his students have gained international recognition as soloists, chamber music players, and members of major orchestras worldwide. Keshet Eilon has benefited by his presence as a faculty member over the years and as a distinguished guest artist, honoring him in 2008 with a Lifetime Achievement Award.l

Georgii Moroz (Ukraine)

Violin

Georgii Moroz was born in 2001 in Kyiv, Ukraine. He graduated from Kyiv Special Music School in 2018. These days Moroz study in Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (Singapore) in the studio of Prof Qian Zhou. Moroz holds a position of concertmaster in the Youth Symphony orchestra of Ukraine and also plays in many chamber ensembles that include string quartets (as a Violin and or a Viola), piano trios, duets, etc. His priority now is to perform music as a soloist. Moroz is a laureate of many Ukrainian and international violin competitions such as International violin competition “Cornelia Bronzetti” (2014) – Romania; International violin competition “Grumiaux” (2017) – Brussels, Belgium; “Leonid Kogan” International violin competition (2018) – Ukraine, and many others. In addition, he had many recitals in many cities of Ukraine and abroad.l

Nazik Rahmedova (Turkmenistan)

Violin

Nazik Rahmedova was born in 1993 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. By the age of 5, he was accepted to the Ashgabat Central Music School and began studying the violin. Afterward, received state scholarship and was transferred as an honorable student to the Specialized Musical School of the Turkmen National Conservatory. In 2017 she started working as a solo violinist and concertmaster in Turkmen Philharmonic and internationally toured to Germany, Croatia, Russia, and Mongolia. Nazik has collaborated with dozens of distinguished artists, including Deborah Nemtanu, Sergei Skripka, Alexander Anisimov, Peter Stark, Daniel Draganov, Clare Thompson, Wolfgang Harrer, Chen Zimbalista and Zhanna Gandelman. She has participated in the Keshet Eilon Mastercourse in 2018 and 2019 years. Currently working in Bilkent Symphony Orchestra in Ankara.l
