26 years after the restaurant Orna and Ella opened on Sheinkin Street and became a successful Tel Aviv culinary institution, Orna Agmon and Ella Shine decide to close their shared life’s work.
In the last week of the establishment’s operation, director Tomer Heiman, who worked during the restaurant’s early years, accompanies them. The intense dynamics that accompany the final days and the farewell from the customer community, the recipes, and the employees,
creates intimate and one-time conversations. The complex relationship between the two women is revealed through a spectrum of intense emotions, including love, emotional dependency, other desires, and fears.
The film dares to ask questions about self-fulfillment, the price of freedom, and longing for a time that will not return.
