This performance revives the tradition of watching old films as it was done about a hundred years ago, in which live music was performed to accompany the film and enhance the audience’s experience.
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920), one of the masterpieces of the twentieth century directed by Robert Wiene, unfolds the delirious story of Dr. Caligari, the obedient Cesare, the somnambulist fortune-teller, and the residents of a small German town in which a series of mysterious murders takes place.
