Elvira Martínez is a Spanish violist from Madrid currently completing her Master’s degree in Viola at the Haute École de Musique de Genève – Neuchâtel in the class of Lise Berthaud. She previously earned her Bachelor’s degree at Musikene in San Sebastián with Natalia Tchich, following earlier studies at the CIEM Federico Moreno Torroba in Madrid.
She has enriched her training through viola masterclasses with William Coleman and maintains an active performing profile. Elvira is a member of the Spanish National Youth Orchestra (JONDE) and has appeared at international festivals including the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Lumières d’Europe Chamber Music Academy at the Enescu Festival, the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, and AIMS. She will also participate this year in the iPalpiti Festival in Prague.
