Emil began his musical journey at age 9, studying violin with Ari Waxer at the Ramat Gan Music Center. He added viola to his repertoire at 13 and graduated from Thelma Yellin High School of Arts. From 2017 to 2021, he studied with Yoram Youngerman.
Since 2021, Emil has been studying at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in the Faculty of Performing Arts under Tali Kravitz. He participated in and received a scholarship for the chamber music program for outstanding performers “Soraya and Younas Nazarian” at JAMD from 2021 to 2024. In 2023, he took part in the International Chamber Music Festival “Musica Mundi,” and in March 2025, he was accepted into the Musethica program.
Beyond traditional viola, Emil also plays the viola d’amore and works as a composer and arranger across all musical styles. He is an official member of the StormbounD band and formerly served as violist for Yossi Sassi & the Oriental Rock Orchestra.
His diverse musical interests span classical performance, contemporary composition, and cross-genre collaboration, reflecting his versatility as both performer and creator.
