Gisele Zhu: Born in 2015, Shanghai, Gisele began her music journey with violin at age 4. She currently studies at the HKAPA under the tutelage of Professor Michael Ma. Gisele made her debut solo performance with orchestra at age 10, playing the Saint-Saens Concerto No.3 in Shanghai under the baton of Conductor Jing Yuan and played Mozart Concerto No.1 with Hong Kong Youth Chamber including her own Cadenza. Gisele held her first solo recital in Jan, 2026 with 60-min program. Gisele participated in Tibor Varga and Mozarteum Academy, Schöntal Masterclasses, and 2025 Swiss International Music Academy on full scholarship. Gisele has won various prizes and is the youngest finalist of Ysaye International Music Competition at age 10 and currently plays a 3/4 size 1693 Ruggieri on loan from Nippon Violin.
