South Korean violinist Jinan Laurentia Woo has garnered critical acclaim, earning recognition from The Strad magazine following her performance at the Zhuhai Mozart Competition. Currently studying with Itzhak Perlman at the Juilliard Pre-College, she made a remarkable Carnegie Hall debut at just seven years old.
Her orchestral collaborations include performances with the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, National Philharmonic, Vancouver Symphony, Pannon Philharmonic, and Incheon Philharmonic. Notable achievements include first prizes at both the Zhuhai Mozart Competition (2019) and Johansen International Competition (2022).
Laurentia has toured Hungary under Maestro Gilbert Varga’s direction and shared the stage with renowned artists Hilary Hahn and Gil Shaham at the Conrad Prebys Center. In 2023, she performed at the UNESCO International Day of Education Conference, highlighting her role as a cultural ambassador.
As a Juilliard Concerto Competition winner and Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholar, she has enriched her artistry through participation in the Perlman Music Program and Aspen Music Festival. Her musical accomplishments include recordings for Albany Records.
