Dandan Jingfei Wang, began studying violin at the age of three. She has been a student at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia since 2021 and currently studies with Shmuel Ashkenasi and Pamela Frank. She previously attended the Colburn Music Academy in Los Angeles as a Kohl Scholar, and her previous teachers include Midori Goto, Ida Kavafian, and Margaret Batjer. She was the third prize winner at the 2025 Dorcas McClean Violin Scholarship Competition, the winner of the 2023 Australian Youth Classical Music Competition, and Richard Mills First Prize at the 2018 Melbourne Recital Center Bach Competition.
