Maya started playing the violin at age 4 and gave her first solo performance when she was 6, with the Ramat Gan Symphony Orchestra. Currently, she is studying at the Buchman Mehta school for music for her bachelor’s degree. She was a student of the late Professor Chaim Taub, and is currently studying with Saida Bar Lev.
Maya regularly participates in the spring and winter Seminars at Keshet Eilon. She plays a violin kindly loaned to her by Mr. Yehuda Zisapel.
In 2023, Maya won first prize at the Cremona Competition for Strings in Cremona, Italy. Maya was awarded the best performance, the best virtuoso performance, and the best performance of a sonata.
In 2023, Maya also performed as a soloist with the Thelma Yelin Orchestra and won a scholarship from the “Ronen Foundation”.
