Raphael Gisbertz has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at leading European venues, including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, BOZAR Brussels, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Cologne Philharmonie, and the Tonhalle Düsseldorf. He has appeared at international festivals and academies such as the Verbier Festival Soloists Academy, Gstaad String Academy, and the Musica Mundi Course and Festival, and gained international recognition after winning the Grand Prize at the Concours Grumiaux in Brussels (2023) and 2. Prize at the International Ysaÿe Competition (2021). Raphael Gisbertz is currently taught by Professor Leonid Kerbel at the Musica Mundi School in Belgium and plays a Carlo Giuseppe Testore violin (c. 1700), on loan from the German Foundation ‚Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben‘.
