Sarah Brazil

17-year-old Sarah Brazil began her violin studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music at the age of 6 with Professor Yvonne Donnelly and subsequently with Karl Sweeney. Aged 8, she was admitted to the RIAM’s Young Artist Programme. In 2023, Sarah received the NCH Young Musician Award for String Players. She has participated in masterclasses at the Mozarteum University, the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska Madrid, and the New Virtuosi Mastercourse in Oxford. At 15, she performed Sibelius’ Violin Concerto in a masterclass with Maxim Vengerov and the National Symphony Orchestra Ireland. Sarah has appeared as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra Ireland, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, and the Hibernian Orchestra. She recently gave her debut solo recital at the Whyte Recital Hall, Dublin.
Sarah studies with Professor Itzhak Rashkovsky.
