Yarden Cavenor currently performs with two orchestras: the Israel Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and the Ra’anana Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Prof. Guy Porat. Previously, he served as lead cellist for the Young Talented String Orchestra directed by the Jerusalem Music Center (JMC). His musical training has included participation in special programs for gifted young musicians organized by the Ministry of Education, masterclasses at the JMC, the Huberman festival, the Goldman music program, and the Perlman Music Program Israel Residency, where he performed as a soloist.
Cavenor has participated in European music festivals, including the annual “Chieti Classica” Music Festival in Italy, where he engaged in a week of chamber music masterclasses with international musicians such as cellist Dimitry Yablonsky, and attended courses and concerts led by Prof. Zvi Carmeli. He has been awarded two full scholarships to study cello. Beyond music, Cavenor also plays competitive chess. Yarden is a Keshet Eilon graduate.
