Yevheniia Krivych

Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1999, Yevheniia Krivych began her cello studies at age 6 at Art School No. 3 under Alexandra Yakubovskaya. She continued her musical education at the Mikhail Glinka Music College under Olga Lutsenko.
From 2020 to 2021, Yevheniia served as principal cellist of the Chamber Orchestra at the Academy of Music in Dnipro, while also working as an illustrator in various chamber music groups. Since 2021, she has studied with Professor Hillel Zori at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Her artistic development has been enriched through masterclasses with distinguished cellists including Denis Severin (Switzerland), Wen-Sinn Yang (Germany), Chu Yi-Bing (Germany), Razvan Suma (Romania), Alexander Huelshoff (Germany), Jacob Shaw (Belgium), Adam Krzeszowiec (Poland), Bartosz Koziak (Poland), and Amit Peled (Israel).
Yevheniia has earned recognition through prize wins in numerous All-Ukrainian competitions, establishing herself as a promising talent in the international cello community despite the challenges faced by Ukrainian musicians in recent years.
