Zoja Syguda is 16 years old award-winning concert violinist, emerging as one of the finest of her generation in Poland. She was born in Gdańsk in family where there are no professional musicans. She started playing violin when she was 8. Zoja is a major winner at national and international competitions including 20th International G. Ph. Telemann Violin Competition in Poznań, 58th edition of the Concertino Praga Competition and International 67th Kocian Competition in Czech Republic. Zoja is invited to perform premiere of the Violin Concerto “Prayer for Barbora” by composer Jaroslav Pelikán with orchestra in 2027. She also will perform J. Brahm’s Violin Concerto with the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra. For her artistic achievements she received the “Young Poland” scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
