Keshet Eilon Spring Seminar

Seminar Details:

  • The seminar will be held between March 28-30, 2024.
  • It is open to students recommended by their teachers who have been playing a string instrument for over 4 years.
  • Travelling back home at the end of the seminar (Saturday evening) is independent and the responsibility of the students.

The violin teachers will be:

Itzhak Rashkovsky, Ani Schnarch, Mila Feldman, Evgeny Bushkov, Uri Wissner Levy, Janna Gandelman, Svetlana Simanovsky, Guy Figer, and Chaim Taub.

Viola will be taught by Tali Kravitz, and cello by Michal Korman.

The list of teachers is subject to change.

The pianists will be:

Eugenia Lakernik, Julia Gurvich, Irina Zhelznova, Nataly Grines, Evgeny Brakhman, Michael Kaner, Ilya Lekhanov, Oleg Yakirevich, and Natalia Korshunova.

The seminar will include the following activities:

  • Thursday: A tribute event to an Israeli composer featuring music personality Danny Or-Stav. 
  • Friday: Masterclass – details to follow.
  • Concert of the Ben Haim Trio: Guy Figer – violin, Yotam Baruch – cello, Ron Trachtman – piano, featuring violist Tali Kravitz.
  • Saturday: Seminar closing concert – Concert time TBD

In addition, there will be individual lessons and rehearsals for ensemble playing for all seminar participants (the ensemble will perform in the closing concert).

Please note additional instructions and details for your information:

  • You can register through the Keshet Eilon website: [link provided in the document].
  • Registration ends on February 29, 2024.
  • The number of places is limited! Only those who have sent complete forms including repertoire details will be accepted.
  • Participation in the seminar costs 500 NIS per participant. Note: At the end of the registration form, you will be directed to the payment screen.
  • Seminar participation requires the approval of the local teacher who will send their recommendation by email to Sahar at [email protected] .
  • For the individual lessons, bring a piece you are currently working on, i.e., not a new piece!
  • Ensemble playing – the sheet music will be sent once we know in what format the seminar will be held.
  • You can indicate on the registration form which teachers you would like to work with (please list at least 2 preferences). We will try to fulfill requests within limitations. Please show understanding in this matter!
  • Note: The viola and cello classes will be limited in number. Registration for these classes will be coordinated with Sahar (052-8698766).
  • Students under the age of 13 must be accompanied by their parents throughout the seminar.
