Irina Zheleznova (Israel)
Pianist Irina Zheleznova studied with A. Nasedkin and T. Alikhanov at the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory Academy, Moscow, earning a Ph.D. in chamber music. She was associate professor and a head of the chamber music department, Uzbek State Conservatory. Irina is a six-time winner of piano-duo competitions: in Miami and Hartford, USA, Rome and Caltanissetta, Italy, Belgrade, and Tokyo. She has performed as a member of chamber ensembles, accompanist and soloist with orchestras in Russia, USA, Canada, Japan, Germany, Italy, Israel, Greece, Spain, Uzbekistan, including “Stravinsky Festival” (Miami), “Bad-Kissingen Sommer”, Eilat Chamber Music Festival, “Jazz Globus” (Jerusalem). Irina is one of the principal performers, author and organizer of “Let’s make music together!” – cycle of chamber music recitals in Israel. Irina was associate professor and a head of the Chamber Music Department, Uzbek State Music Academy. Immigrating to Israel in 2008, she works as an accompanist at the Israel Conservatory of Music, Tel Aviv, and is a member of the International Summer Opera Program in Tel-Aviv, The Jerusalem Summer International Mastercourse and the Keshet Eilon faculty. From 2017 Irina is a collaborative pianist in Perlman Music Program and “Genesis”.
